Do you know KonaDave?

KonaDave was born in Seattle, Washington and when not traveling the world. splits his time between homes in Kona, Hawaii, and Edmonds,Washington. He graduated from Roosevelt High and the University of Washingtion before a career in the Newspaper business. He left his position at the San Francisco Chronicle when his daughter was born and traveled the world. His daughter left dirty diapers in 24 countries before she was two. He also runs a real estate investment company between travels.

He has visited 42 countries and 42 states. He travels over 100 days a year. He would travel more, but has obligations to attend to. (Don't we all) When not traveling you will find him during the winter at his KonaZona Coffee Farm, Art Garden and Tiki Bar in Holulaloa, Kona Hawaii. (www.KonaZona.net) His great, great, great uncle, Rev Samual Ruggles, brought the first coffee to Kona in 1828. KonaDave still grows it. He owns Kona Gold Farms.(Notice to stoners: the gold refers to avacodos) You are welcome to stop and talk story at the KonaZona if you visit Kona. Even if KonaDave is not there, the other friendly natives, who live full time at the farm, will share a cup of coffee or Mai Tai with you.

In the summer, KonaDave spends his time in the seaside town of Edmonds, near Seattle. It is also the Home of Rick Steves the European travel expert. and TV show host.
